I am the weed of the dark,
Smiling gleefully without a spark,
Unnoticed, uncared, scarred, Life is without any mark,
Just fortunate to just whisper and the stray dogs bark..
But one day, something happened,
My filth was dredged,
For the little greenery i had,
I was pledged.
The light in me my gradually increased,
The negativity in me gradually ceased,
The encroached buildings collapsed,
I thought it was paradise,
Valued, loved, cared,
I was thrilled & filled with pride,
Unaware of the monster, that lurked inside..
But u do know right,
The weed that grows in pitch black,
Only find strangers of the dark.
The pledge was beautiful canvas,
With a collage of lovely paint,
But how can it ever rejoice a filthy daint?
When I began thinking right, I found that
the dirt i had were the compliments to my beauty,
But now I have to obey the rules and carry my duty,
An irreplaceable plant is just a fable,
At certain times you end up getting the label
Especially when there are a lot of options under the table..
In the end i have nothing to shout,
Neither the flamboyance nor the humbleness to scout,
Numb, trapped in nothingness
I just uprooted in an alley,
Burdened by the imbalance for the heaven’s to tally,
An anomaly of nature full of self doubt,
With neither the care nor any roots to sprout.
