Some men like us,
We forget ourselves in the play,
Being selfless is what is expected,
We just mould into that clay..
Some men like us,
We are not attuned to the Instagram trends,
the snap filters or the virtual trends,
Yet we have our own ways of showering love and making mends,
We too have many couple goals,
But sometimes they are forgotten on our eroded soles,
A son, a brother, a husband, a MAN..
Being too busy in our roles,
We constantly struggle to keep apart our poles.
Some men like us,
We are heck as ‘loyal’ could be,
But aren’t appreciated as we should be..
We forget what we want,
We just fulfill what we need,
Our loved ones wishes are our heed,
Hiding us in the process,
We submit to the world we feed.
We listen, but speak less,
We cater to all their mess,
Yet our voices stand bleak..
Why you say??
It’s because it’s always heard with a tweak,
Realising it would only worsen the matter,
We put a lid and love on with this clutter.
This is the tragedy ‘some men’ can’t erase,
They live along with this eternal cess,
Backswept and inept,
When all they wanted was just some understanding and respect..
Some men like us,
Are the cogs in the wheel of modern society,
We don’t fit their definition of piety,
In their eyes of self-centred gaze,
We are nothing but an irritating haze..
We know..
Some doors to our emotions will always remains closed,
It might leak sometimes, but will never get deposed,
In God’s playground, we are but an insignificant stray,
A mere pawn in his grandulous play..
Brilliant bhai!!! Keep doing the good work😁
Thank you:)
As men, we have to carry the burden.
Very nicely written, keep it up.
Thank you.
